Counselling
Free Introductory call
Before starting work with any new client, I recommend we speak on the phone. This enables you to ask any questions you might have and I can tell you how I work. So if this sounds good to you, complete the contact me page below and I will get back to you ASAP. Please note that I will never call you without an agreed date and time, to ensure you are in a confidential place.
Counselling
I am often asked what I specialise in as a therapist, and my response is that I specialise in people. There could be many reasons which have brought you to this point. Perhaps something doesn’t feel right in your life; something has happened which is affecting you or you want to change something but aren’t sure how. Whatever the reason, the point is that you're here.
Working alongside a therapist can be a really useful way to explore where you are and how you feel about what's going on in your life. I provide my clients with a confidential and non-judgemental space where they can explore their thoughts safely.
My Training

I am a qualified Integrative therapist with a Person-Centred foundation. Alongside the Person Centred approach, I incorporate CBT, Existentialism, Transactional Analysis and creative techniques into my work. If you haven’t come across these terms before and are interested in learning more, check out the Links page.

I have worked with clients facing lots of challenges, including but not limited to the following:
-
Anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, family issues, abuse, anger management, relationship issues, life stages, grief, living with neurodiversity, self-harm, living with a disability, eating disorders and suicidal feelings.
When I’m not counselling clients, I am lead Lecturer delivering the CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic counselling at Basingstoke College of Technology. I also design and deliver CPD courses for qualified and trainee counsellor's and work with local business in Reading providing mental health and wellbeing training.
